Our story
2,932 reviews. Five stars. One reason.
We're a family-run repair shop at 2426 El Cajon Blvd, and we've built our reputation one honest estimate at a time. Customers tell us the same thing over and over: we quoted less than anyone else in San Diego, we finished ahead of schedule, and we didn't add a single thing to the bill that the car didn't need.
That covers everything from a quick smog check and oil change to a full rebuilt transmission, backed by a one-year warranty. If something needs doing, we'll show you why. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too, and we'll recommend ways to keep the cost down.
We're open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Call ahead and we'll do our best to get you in the same day.
- One-year warranty on rebuilt transmissions
- Straight answers: no add-ons you didn't need
- Same-day and short-notice work whenever we can
What customers say
“I had called all over San Diego checking on prices for a rebuilt transmission and he was by far the cheapest in the whole area by about $1800. Plus, they warranty it for one year. I asked him to check for anything else and they didn't add anything that didn't need to be done. This is my go to place from now on.”
“Loved my experience at TP. Phong and Lily were so nice and so helpful. My smog test was super quick and they even helped me attach my new license plate later in the day. They made the experience quick and easy. I would recommend going here to anyone.”
“Phong's accountability was impressive. I'll be coming back here 100%. Great shop.”
